Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Medical Physics.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Medical Physics (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Medical Physics is an online educational platform designed for medical physics professionals and students preparing for RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) certification examinations. The Platform provides study materials, mock tests, question banks, community discussions, resources such as SOPs and guidelines, and related educational tools.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Medical Physics reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Medical Physics offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected during purchase. All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partners. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if no premium content has been accessed. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and may be revised with 30 days' prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including study materials, questions, explanations, SOPs, guidelines, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of Medical Physics or its content contributors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission. Downloaded materials are for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) share your account credentials with others; (b) redistribute, screenshot, or copy Platform content for commercial purposes; (c) use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract content; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Platform; (e) post offensive, misleading, or harmful content in community forums; (f) impersonate other users or Medical Physics staff; (g) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. Content Accuracy and Disclaimer

While Medical Physics strives to provide accurate, expert-reviewed educational content, the Platform is intended for exam preparation and educational purposes only. Content should not be used as a substitute for official AERB guidelines, regulatory documents, or professional advice. Medical Physics does not guarantee exam success. All content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Community Guidelines

Users participating in community discussions and forums must maintain a respectful and professional tone. Content that is abusive, discriminatory, spammy, or off-topic may be removed without notice. Medical Physics reserves the right to moderate, edit, or delete community posts and to suspend users who repeatedly violate community guidelines.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Medical Physics and its founders, employees, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of data, exam results, or interruption of service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

10. Modifications to Terms

Medical Physics reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage users to review this page periodically.

11. Termination

Medical Physics may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
